Over 21 billion people volunteer in the UK at least once a year which contributes an estimated £22.6 billion to the UK economy. Volunteers Week was started in 1984 by Volunteering England and is now an annual event, not only to look for volunteers but to also say a huge Thank You to all the volunteers who give up their time to support and help charities such as Burning Nights CRPS Support. Volunteers Week 2018 is on 1st – 7th June 2018.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK – and this year it is taking place from 1st to 7th June 2018! Volunteering for a charity such as Burning Nights CRPS Support will not only give you new skills to learn but it can also boost your self-confidence and self-esteem. Living with a chronic illness such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) can often leave you feeling helpless, no longer part of society, isolated, vulnerable and depressed. However if you decide to volunteer with Burning Nights CRPS Support, you will be part of an amazing team, you can learn new skills as well as give yourself a purpose. You can give back the support you’ve received from us to other people so they can in turn benefit from the charity and the support we offer.

Volunteers Week 2018

As Burning Nights CRPS Support begins to grow into a successful charity, we are always looking for volunteers. Are you interested in becoming a volunteer for our charity? We need people to help with our social media, become a moderator on our online forum, help with general charity support such as answering emails, phone calls, to run a regular support group in your area and other areas of the charity.

If you think you can spare 1 hour per day or 5 hours a week, ideally live in the UK and think you have what it takes to be 1 of our volunteers please contact us and request the volunteers pack.
